Voila! These are Moonsparkles. Collect 100, and you'll be able to mew-gically come back to life even if you do lose all your heads.
Moonsparkles are bits of moon energy that help Kutaro stay alive in the event he loses all three of his heads. Each time he collects 100 of them, Kutaro gains an extra life. They can be found while exploring levels and examining objects.
Hundredsparkles[]
Hundredsparkles are equivalent to 100 Moonsparkles. They appear as larger versions of Moonsparkles and are rarer to find and harder to get. There are around 2-4 in every level and there is a trophy for collecting them all.
